Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Queen of House (“we”) collects when you use queenofhouse.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules.

What we collect

• You give us: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order notes, and messages you send us.
• Automatically: device and browser type, pages viewed, and a cart identifier stored in your browser. We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not build advertising profiles.
• We do not store card details. Payments are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner; we receive only a transaction reference and status.

• To process, ship and support your orders
• To respond to enquiries and returns
• To send order updates, and — only with your consent — our newsletter
• To prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the shop — courier partners, our payment gateway, email and hosting providers — and only what they need. We never sell your data. We may disclose data if required by law.

Retention

Order records are kept as long as needed for warranty, accounting and tax law (typically eight years). Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by writing to hello@queenofhouse.in. We respond within 30 days. You may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage (your session, your cart, whether you dismissed the announcement bar). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
